Access 2000 to Access 97

When trying to open a particular form in Access 97,
I get the following message box:

Microsoft Access can't open the form 'frmLodgeInfo'.
It contains data that Microsoft Access doesn't recognize.
Recreate the form, or, if you maintain backup copies of
your database, retrieve a copy of the form.

The database was converted to Access 97 format using
Tools | Database Utilities | Convert Database |
To Previous Access Database Version.

I couldn't find any Knowledge Base articles on this
problem....
The other forms in the database open okay. Does anyone
know of incompatibilities that exist in a backward
conversion? Could Visual Basic version be the cause of
a problem? There's a message when the database opens
telling me I need to re-compile the form from Design
mode, but I can't open it!

If you used ANY new feature in A2000 then you can't convert back to A97.
(Think about it - how would the designers of A97 know what new features
would exist in the future?)

Your best bet would be to review the form (in A2000) and figure out what you
used and remove it.
Then try to convert to A97.

Alternatively, you could delete the form in A97 and re-build it manually.
Or maybe even just delete the code in it. (Set HasModule=False).
Then copy/paste fixed code from A2000.
