access 2000 under windows 2000

I have a main form & 2 sub forms.
Main form & 1st subfrom are linked thru customer ID
2nd subform is linked to 1st subform thru OrderNo.
(Exactly like Nwind database sample)
When I open the main form, 1st subform shows all records
but not the 2nd subform.(has no records).
I set it up exactly like NWIND sample database.
If set a new mainform as the 1stsubform with 2ndsubform as
a subform, then it works.
Please help.
