Access 2000 using MDE but no Ad-hoc reports

I am setting up a new applicatoin in Access 2000 and have a frontend and
backend file in place. I am creating an mde out of the frontend file and am
playing around to make sure everything is working.

I find it strange that users can alter the queries that I have built all my
forms on but they cannot create any ad-hoc reports. Am reading the file
properly? Or am I just missing a setting.

Duane Hookom

MDE don't allow creation of forms and reports or modification of code. There
are alternatives depending on your requirements.
