Access 2000 using wrong OLE version

K

Ken

When copying and pasting an object (text, paragraph, etc.)
from Word 2000 to a new report in Access 2000, the object
gets pasted as OLE Class of Microsoft Word 97 and Class
Word.Document.8 when it should be Microsoft Word 2000 and
Word.Document.9 respectively.

(I have both Access 97 and Office 2000 Pro (includes
Access 2000) installed on my Win XP Pro computer).

I suspect there is a general problem with the OLE object
(bound object) in Access as have seem error messages
refering to "incorrect version of OLE".
