Access 2000 (Win98) to Windows XP

I have an Access 2000 prog develoed within Win 98
Operating Sys. - which operates with no problems. When I
copied the program to a laptop with Access 2000 - Windows
XP installed, the following occurs:

Search screens no longer work and forms will not open. For
Example; (no error message/s) However, when I removed the
Age: DateDiff("yyyy",[Birthdate],Date()) field from the
search screen, records are displayed on the form, but on
click will no longer open the relative form.

I have checked that all required references are installed.
Can anyone provide any feedback
