Hi Scott,
I am still unable to open it. I grabbed their secured.mdw file from
their system. And the 'properties' to the database which reads :
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\MS Access.exe" "C:\My
Documents\Clickthis.mdb"/WRKGRP "C:\My Documents\Secured.mdw"
That should be ...MSAccess.exe"....(note no space)
Also....\Clickthis.mdb" /WRKGRP (note the space before /)
I set up my system to use WRKGRP as the group, put the db in the same
My Documents folder, and put this same properties in my version's db
properties. I am running W2K, they are running Win XP, but that
should not make a difference.
Maybe. Usually there isn't a c:\My Documents in either W2K or Win XP. My
Documents comes in the form of
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents
In any case, do you really have a folder C:\My Documents (and is that where
you copied Clickthis.mdb and Secured.mdw?
wrkgadm.exe is installed based on the version of Access, not windows. They
are running 2000 so you'll find wrkgadm.exe. You are running Access 2002,
and the workgroup administrator is built in to the Tools, security menu.
Fix the shortcut, verifying the location of the three files.
