Access 2002/2003 compatibility

I have developed an Access 2002 application for a client using Access 2002
on my development machine. After deploying that application, I removed
Access 2002 and installed Access 2003.

Now, client wants revisions to their application, but wishes to remain on
Access 2002.

Can I implement the revisions, avioding any new features in 2003, keeping
the db in 2002 format (including the *.mde format), so that the new version
with run in client's environment?

Thanks
Jim

You could have kept 2002, and installed 2003 i.e. have both.

You were OK up to here, but
(including the *.mde format),

you need 2002 in order to make a mde.

Actually, I upgraded my OS from Win/2000 Server to Win/2003 Server which
also involved wiping the C: drive clean. I was cleaning house.

I'm hoping I can reinstall Access 2002 and keep Access 2003 too.

Can I do that by installing in a different directory under "Program Files"?

Yes. When you install 2002, be sure to choose a different folder under
Program Files, and also be sure to 'keep other versions'.
