Access 2002 and Visual SourceSafe

Dexter

Hi there,
I've installed Office XP Developer, so that I can use the SourceSafe plug-in
for Access 2000. However, in Access when I go to Tools -> SourceSafe -> Add
Database to SourceSafe, I'm presented with the msgbox re closing the
database, the login screen for VSS, and the dialog box for VSS project
folder, but the dialog box for adding objects is not presented.

I've checked online, and found that I can add objects manually in the Tools
-> SourceSafe menu options, but I do not have the 'Add Objects to SourceSafe
option'
I just have the following four:
1. Create Database from SourceSafe Project
2. Add Database to SourceSafe
3. Run SourceSafe
4. Options.

I've even tried the following to no fruitful results.

1. Set the SourceSafe Options as below (Tools - SourceSafe -> Options)
* Check in objects when closing the Database? [Yes]
* Add objects to source control when adding them to Microsoft Access? [Yes]
* Remove objects from source control when deleting them from Microsoft
Access? [Yes]
2. Create a new Database
3. Added a few objects (tables and forms) manually
4. Imported a few objects (tables, forms, queries, modules) from another
database using the Import Wizard under (File -> Get External Data -> Import)

Whatever I do, I can't seem to add objects to SourceSafe.

I have noticed however that when the VSS Project is created, a folder in the
same directory as the database is created with a .scc extension, however
there are no files listed in that folder.

Anyone have any ideas?

My environment is as follows:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002
Microsoft Access 2002 (10.2627.3501) SP-1
Visual SourceSafe Version 6.0d (Build 9848)

Kind regards
Dexter
