Hello,
I'm going to re-post this problem because I've run out of ideas on how to
determine the fix to this problem and the last post didn't return any
answers. The database (Access 2002) installs and runs fine on Windows XP
and 2K systems but when I install on 98 and ME systems it hangs up after
partially painting the initial screen which is only a login screen (unbound
form for name and password). It does get data OK from 1 of the tables in the
front-end. There are no broken references as I've installed code that scans
the references looking for broken/missing references. The install package
was creating using the P&D wizard from the Access 2002 Developer system.
Can anyone offer a suggestion on how I can determinewhy it hangs? Like I
said it partially paints the screen and then hangs. I tried a different form
as the startup form and it did the same thing (partially painted the screen
and hung).
