In Office 2002, there are only ten sample database wizards. In Office 97,
there were over twenty. These wizards allowed the user to specify what
fields were to be included in the database. Is there a way to convert the
Office 97 wizards for use in Office 2002?
I know Microsoft has posted under their "Templates" actual final designed
databases that replace what these wizards built, but you now have to accept
what fields they provided. For example, the old "Music Collection" wizard
allowed optional fields for "Purchase Date, Price, etc." but the Template
version does not provide these.
I find the sample database wizards more useful than the template databases
now provided.
