Copying from Access mdb (2000 format) using 2002 Sp3 version behaves
differently than copying from 2003 SP3 version. Specifically copying and
pasting a percentage type field.
I display a Number field size Double with Format Percent with 4 decimal
places and no input mask. In Access it displays as 56.000000%. This is
displayed along with other fields in a datasheet/table view "grid" format.
The user copies the contents of the grid and pastes into Outlook 2003 Sp3
With Acc 2002 copy and paste into Outlook 2003 Sp3 (or Word 2003 SP3) would
yield
% column header
56.00%
5.00%
Now with 2003 I get
..5600
..0500
The Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package: December 18, 2007 has
been installed, but does not make a difference in the outcome.
Also Using paste Special with RTF format doesn't make a difference either.
Any ideas on this would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
