I want to incorporate items from the workprocessor and the
spreadsheet applications into an Access database.
Can anyone tell me how to link a particular field in an
Access file to a particular file in Excel or a single
document in MS Word?

Hi Werner,

Unfortunately what you want to accomplish is not something you can use
simple links to accomplish - it's a bit more involved.

You can use ADO/VBA but that route requires a bit of learning if you
are not familiar with VBA.

Perhaps you could expand on what you are trying to accomplish and we
can help advise the best method for you to take.
