Access 2003 & 2002 versus 2002

Hi,

I'm trying to decide if Access 2002 is a significant
improvement over Access 2000.

Does anyone have a lsit of how it's better?

What about Access 2003? How much better is this over A2k
and A2002?

Thanks,

Razor

Hi,

I'm trying to decide if Access 2002 is a significant
improvement over Access 2000.

It is, in my experience. 2000 had fairly frequent crashes, lockups,
and corruptions; 2002 seems to be more stable, and to create smaller
databases. It also has some advantages for web enabled databases.
Does anyone have a lsit of how it's better?

What about Access 2003? How much better is this over A2k
and A2002?

I haven't used 2003 yet but I'm told that the Help file is a marked
improvement - whee!!!

Sure...if you call being forced to buy a digital certificate ($400 2 years)
to sign your code an improvement...and the fact that it basically is
incompatible with prior versions for that reason. In other words, I see no
compelling reason to upgrade.
