Access 2003 asking for Jet 4 Service Pack 8

When I open Access 2003 and try to open a database created
under 2002 I get this error message "Unsafe expressions
are not being blocked" with a recommendation to go to
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and to obtain Microsoft
Jet 4 Service Pack 8. Well, I have not seen a Service Pack
8==the latest I can find is SP 7 and after downloading
that, nothing changed.

Does anyone know how to corect this? Thanks.

Hi Sharyn & Kevin,

Jet 4.0 SP8 was not pulled, it has just not been released yet. It should be
available in the next several weeks. In the mean time, you can either just
click the button to open the database or if you want to eliminate the
prompt, set Macro Security to Low. You can do this by doing the following:

1. On the Tools menu point at Macro and then click Security.
2. In the Security dialog, select Low.
3. Click Low and then click OK to accept the changes.
