I created a mdb in Access 2000 that we use for data conversions/manipulations
etc. When we run this in 2000, I can run the entire process without hitting
the 2GB size limit as long as the number of records do not exceed around
350,000 (individual records are very large).
Here at work i recently inherited a newly used pc with Office 2003 (keeping
up with the times) and when i try to run the same program, it quickly gains
size and in no time reaches the 2 gig size limit. Even if I put in 100,000
records at a time, it still bloats up and hits the size limit.
Anyway to solve this? Fixes? Or do I need to regress to Office2000?
