Access 2003; "cannot find system130.mdw" when opening access file.

THis is an Instructors computer, when opening a student file in Access, the
message
"MS Office Access copuld'nt find file C:\...\...\..\...system130.mdw. This
file is required for startup." On each attempt, the number (130) increases
by one. Has anybody run into this? Thanks!
