Access 2003 creating files in 2000 format

When I create a new database the file is created in 2000 format. Does anyone
know how to change this?
I have created a small db at home for work and e-mailed it to myself at work
but the Outlook system at work will not open the file as it says it may be
dangerous. Would this be solved if it was created in 2003 format?

many thanks

Tools
- Options
- {Advanced}
- "Default File Format"

....and no it won't help your Email situation. The rules are based on the
file extension which will be "MDB" regardless of the format. Just rename the
file when you Email it and then change the name back after copying it to
disk from the Email.

Just got in from work. It worked a treat, so thanks once again as you've
saved me so much time now that I can use my database instead of a million
bits of paper!
