I have just upgraded to Office 2003 from 2000. All iswell and good except an
existing db that uses a DDE link with an emulator program will no longer work.
DDEInitiate seems to work and returns a channel number but the DDE
expression in a textbox controlsource no longer works - it just shows "#Name?"
Going back to basics I followed the help advice for linking to an Excel
spreadsheet using the convention DDE(application, topic, item) ie.
=DDE("Excel", "Sheet1", "R1C1") but still get "#Name"
So what has changed between Access 2000 and Access 2003?
Any help would be very gratefully received.
Kind regards
