Access 2003 error in printing reports to .PDF

Trying to a print a report to .pdf in Access 2003 using Acrobat 6.0, but it
crashes, generating an error in a .txt document. This error is not
consistently happening among all reports but cannot find a common thread
here. Error message below. Thanks for any assistance.

I had the need to print reports as pdf, try it, it worked for me.

your report the
first time (for those who don't have Access) There are
several free pdf
creators available too. Just google for: CutePDF or PDFCreator

There are several. You'll need GhostWriter and the print
driver. Have a look

There may be some unique element in your report that is causing postscript
problems which distiller is crashing on. A couple of things to try.

1.) Make sure that you've downloaded and installed the updated to Adobe
Acrobat 6. If that doesn't solve it try:

2.) If you report has lots of images or unique fonts, you may want to make a
modest change in the way that the Adobe PDF printer manages its post script
creation. Again, open the printer printers properties from the printers
folder. On the Advanced tab, choose the button "Printing Defaults". Once
the print settings dialog appears, choose either the paper or layout tab and
then again, click the Advanced button. In the properties shown there, you
will note that under PostScript options, that the Post Script Output Options
are set to "Optimize for Speed". Try setting this to "Optimize for
portability". This changes the type of postscript that is produced from the
report and Acrobat may not choke on that.
