Access 2003 Install on new computer

I had my Access 2003 on my old computer with Windows 2000 . I tried to
reinstall it on my new computer with Windows XP. It won't work. It Says "You
receive an
"Error 1608. Setup could not locate a version of Microsoft Office 97, 2000
or XP on the selected drive" . I can't put in a Windows 2000 Disk in.

I have Office 2003 and that is the same with the old computer.
So is there a way to solve this problem?

I want to try to keep my Access 2003 if I can. I even tried to get help with
tech support, but they said I entered the wrong ID Product code. I entered
the Product Key that was inside my disk case that came with the Access I
bought.

Please help me !!!!!!!

Sounds like the Access 2003 you have is an upgrade ot the full install and
it is looking for the qualifying product: Microsoft Office 97, 2000 or XP
NOT your Windows 2000 CD. You will need to have a previous version of
Access or of Microsoft Office that you upgraded from. If it was the Office
2003 that you have on the old machine, provided you have the full install,
you can install that on the new machine (don't forget to remove it from the
old machine) and the install Access 2003
