Access 2003 launching Word 2003 displays without toolbars

I am using MS Access 2003 to open document templates in word 2003. If the
document template has standard text or merge fields, all is OK and the
document is loaded with appropriate Word toolbars. If you add a fill in
field to the document where the user is prompted for input, when the word
document is loaded, all toolbars are gone. Looks like an orphaned screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?TWlrZUxhQnJlY3F1ZQ==?=,

Mmm. Could you show us the code you use instantiate Word and to load the
document, please?

Usually, the situation you describe can be alleviated by changing the order
of the app.Visible and app.Activate commands. Not sure what effect that will
have in this case, but give it a try.
