Access 2003 ODBC problem

I have just installed Office 2003.

I use Access with ODBC connection to connect to our Oracle Applications
database. The tables that are already linked work fine.

However, when I try to get a new link, File->Get External Data->Link Tables,
select ODBC in drop down, select DSN, type in password, Access hangs, it will
not connect.

I have verified the MDAC is the latest, I also found an issue where someone
had a problem with the msjet40.dll, they had to use an older version than
4.0.8618.0. I changed it to an older version and still have the issue.

Any help is appreciated!

dont ever use MDB for anything
i would reccomend using MSDE or SQL Server; and using DTS or something
similiar.

MDB is just for babies.
