Access 2003 Runtime

I have converted an existing application into Access 2003 format. The
client wants to enable the deployment of this converted application as a
2003 Access DB application. Before I purchase the Visual Studio Tools to
enable this with the runtime version of Access, can I just save the file as
an Access XP version and use my XP MOD tools to deploy this application,
rather than spend upwards of $700 for Visual Studio Professional and the VS
Tools for Office?

As long as you didn't utilize any A2003 specific features.

Basically,

The clients application was originally developed in Access 97, I converted
the application to Access 2003 for them. The conversion was performed on my
workstation which has Access 2003 installed. They purchased Access 2003 for
their office. Any development I have completed after that conversion has
all been under Access 2003 environment. Though I don't think I have
exploited any release specific features of Access 2003, I guess the safe
answer and thing to do is get the VS Tools for Office.
