ACCESS 2003 SP2 - serious problem

Hi,
I have very serious problem with Access 2003 SP2. I would like You to follow
steps below and check that it is happening exactly after installing SP2.

1. Office 2003 Professional SP1:
a) Run Access 2003 -> File -> New database
b) File -> Get External Data -> Link tables
c) choose EXCEL file and finish the link process
d) After linking this XLS file, check that YOU CAN EDIT cells and add new
positions in this XLS file within database

2. INSTALL SP2 to OFFICE 2003
Make steps a-d and check that YOU CANNOT EDIT cells and CANNOT add new
positions

Anyone knows why this happens ? Microsoft didn't want to help, neither I
found any solution in internet
If anyoune could check it and post possible solutions, I'd be very happy for
that.
