Access 2003 standalone file won't start under Vista Business...

I have an Access 2003 .mdb file of about 20Mb which has extensive VBA code to
help automate the processes. I can use this file in Office 2003 on an XP
system just fine. Put the same file on Vista Business running Office 2003 and
it has no end of troubles trying to start. The file doesn't have the
'Read-only' attribute set, but it says it has to start in Read-Only mode. Why
I don't know. Once I let it start after all the opening error messages
(because it can't initialise all the temp tables I create), all the
References are there, and all the other options are set exactly the same as
on my XP system. Any clues why Vista has to be so officious in not starting
my application file? Many thanks for your assistance. ...Michael Daly

There are numerous security settings in Vista that don't exist in XP. It
might be a good idea to ask this question in a Vista newsgroup, and they
should be able to help you with which ones to change.

Thank you Arvin. I would like to get to know Vista better but it's a very
frustrating experience. I will take your advice and ask in a Vista newsgroup.

Thanks again... Michael
