Access 2003 to Access 2000 or XP

I need some help urgently!
I have done a database for a client in Access 2003; he
now tells me that he has either XP or 2000 - he's not
sure which!!! How do I convert it to either of these
formats? I have tried opening the database in Xp and 2000
and they will not open.

If you want to be backwards compatible you can't use the newer features.
What feature in A2003 did you use that was nor present in A2000 or 2002?

The file format must also be compatible - which is why it defaults to A2000
format.
Did you change it?

Why can't you convert to A200 format, and then open in A2000 and fix
anyhting that is broken?
