what are the differences between the versions

$100 per upgrade.

Each version has certain enhancements that may be useful in certain
circumstances. In Office 2003, Access and Excel have new XML capabilities.
Most commonly used features of 2000, 2002 & 2003 remain quite similar.

Also, in the Access 2003 form design view they got rid of the default
"Cloud" background, well worth $100 <ggg>.
