ACCESS 2003

PAUL REES

I have recently received a copy of Access 2003 from
Microsoft. When I create new tables they are created in
Access 2000 format. Is this normal and if so how do I
convert them to Access 2003.

While I haven't actually installed Access 2003 yet, I suspect that what
you're seeing is normal. By default, Access 2002 created tables in Access
2000 format as well.

There should be an option under Tools | Database Utilities to allow you to
convert. There should also be a way to change the default under Tools |
Options (in Access 2002, it's on the Advanced tab)
