I found out that my user's pc had been replaced with a new one and
they loaded 2003 on it. Unfortunately, I cannot, therefore, find out
what the problem was. However, I'm hoping someone will clarify
whether or not snapshot will work with the current 2007.
The snapshot viewer is an independant executable that can be used to view files
having the SNP file extension. What version of Access is installed is
irrelevant to being able to *view* snapshot files with the viewer. In fact the
Snapshot viewer will work on a PC that doesn't have Access installed at all.
Now, the 2007 beta might very well have an issue when *creating* snapshot files
such that they cannot be properly viewed with the viewer and I suppose it's
possible that installing the beta could have messed up a dll or other support
file that the snapshot viewer happens to depend on. Otherwise I fail to see how
it could make any difference.
