The database has been in the 2007 format for about 6 months. Do regular
compact and repairs. The size has been around 160,000. Within a week it
jumped to 240,000.
Just converted from 32 bit to 64 bit. Don't see how that would have any
affect.
Have a dozen primary files and none of them have increased in size enough to
justify this big jump. The compact and repair is being done on the server,
however when I copy it to my C drive and do the compact and repair... there
is no resulting difference in size.
By the way someone left a cool suggestion about using KarenWare's Replicator
or QuikSync to back up on an hourly basis. Whoever posted this. Thanks!
This has been a worry for a long time. Any other suggestions?
