I am sorting a text field, Item, in an Access 2007 query.
My sort order appears to have changed since Access 2003.
My results used to be:
ITEM
a-1111
a-3333
a-5555
a-7777
a2222
a4444
a6666
a8888
Now I get:
a-1111
a2222
a-3333
a4444
a-5555
a6666
a-7777
a8888
Of course my item numbers are not as simple as the ones above and the
hyphens can be in any position in the part number.
How do I get Access to consider all characters in a field for sorting?
Punctuation, special characters, etc. should all be part of the sort.
