In the past I've successfully linked A2003, A2002, and A2000 to SQL Server
2000 and MSDE tables, so I know how the process *used* to work.
A2007 is installed on a laptop where SQL Express and MSDE are installed.
Whether I link to one or the other, the tables show now data in Access, only
#Deleted. And, yes, I've checked. The tables have data in both SQL
instances.
No trouble linking to Excel files - either xls or the Excel new files
(whatever they are called).
I don't have any earlier versions of Access loaded on this laptop, so no
*easy* way to see if I can make that work with SQL.
Is there a security setting or something else that I'm missing on the SQL
links? Any other ideas?
