Access 2007 ODBC connectivity password usage issue

Does anyone know how Access 2007 is handling the ODBC connections with
authentication? I am trying to help a co-worker that is using an ODBC
connection but it’s trying to use her Windows account instead of the account
specified in the ODBC connection…. Any ideas or directions?
