I am unable to open linked tables in Access 2007 on a Vista Business
workstation. The tables are on a SQL Server 2005 database that is hosted on a
server on the Internet. The message I get is a very generic ODBC error -
"ODBC --call faild. [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server] Incorrect
syntax near the keyword 'View'. (#156)." 'View' is the first part of my table
name. The ODBC connection test passes and I am able to link the table with no
problems. Opening the same linked tables works fine on an XP workstation with
Office 2003 on my network.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?
