Access 2007, Open Recent Database not showing any history?

In the course of developing an application my "Open Recent Database" page
became very cluttered with similarly named databases, so I deleted the names
from the page. Now it displays no files at all. How can I get this feature to
start functioning again>

Try this --
Click on Office Button, Access Option, Advance, Display, and set the number
for the Recent Documents.
