Access 2007 report crashes with Union Query

I have a report runs using a union query to get all of the necessary data.
The database is an Access 2000 file format, the report/query were created in
Access 2003.

When I run the report in Access 2003, it run correctly. However, if I then
use Access 2007, immediately when the report starts to open, Access 2007
crashes. If I change the query, to be one or the other of the sides of the
UNION sql, the report runs fine.

I need the UNION query to make it work correctly.
