Access 2007 running sum over group

Anyone experience a problem w/a running sum over a group in an access 2007
report? Text field works fine if set sum for 'Over All', but if set to 'over
group', the control value stays at 1

Dan, I am not able to reproduce that problem.

Tell us more about this text box.
In what section is it placed?
What is its Control Source?

Thanks for reply...I figured it out. I had an extra grouping "inside"
the grouping I was attempting to rank (this group was hidden and not
printing). Therefore, the value of 1 that I was seeing was actually correct
since it was the 'overall' group, instead of the detail group I wanted.

Once I removed the extra unnecessary grouping, it looked fine.
