Access 2007 Search Form w/o coding

Hello all--

I am a relatively inexperienced Access 2007 user and am having trouble
creating a search form without having to use coding (I am completely
unfamiliar with coding). Basically, I want my form to open to a prompt where
users can enter criteria for a search. I need this to be simple and
effective, and it seems as though it is possible, but I can not figure out
how! Please help!

Suggestions:

1. Have you tried the Search on the horizontal scroll bar of the form in
Access 2007?

2. Have you tried right-clicking a field, and choosing Filter?

3. Have you tried the Filter By Form?

If you want more power than what the Access interface gives, you will need
to learn something about coding. Here's an example:

Thanks, Allen.

Have tried the horizontal scrollbar search, as well as the filter, both of
which are effective, but could be a little tricky to find for people who are
even less experienced than me. My idea was to create a form that simply
prompts the user to type (or select) the values they are looking for, and
then navegates to those fields. I had found some information on the filter
by form process and tried that, but again, it is tricky to find if you don´t
know what you are doing.

Even after having read your coding link, I have no idea what I am doing with
codes. Like I said, I have no experience with them and end up looking up
every other word in my reference guide only to end up confused all over
again. If you have any other tips, though, I would be more than willing to
try them out!

Thanks again!
