Access 2007 slow report when based on Query from ODBC

Has anyone had a problem with reports in Access 2007 being extremely slow
when based on a query that runs very quickly (couple of seconds) that is
getting data through a ODBC linked table. It is an Oracle table. Have you
found any way to speed it up? Is there some settings to the ODBC link that
have made a difference? Thanks for your help!!
