Access 2007 split form - duplicate entries on datasheet after inse

I have created a split from in Access 2007, and when I have finished adding a
new record and click on a part of the datasheet in order to insert it, the
record I clicked on appears twice in the datasheet. Clicking the RefreshAll
button on the Access toolbar removes the duplicate, but I would like to have
a more elegant (=automatic) method to clean up the datasheet part of the
form.

Also, added records appear not at the end of the datasheet, but at funny
places in the middle of the list (but sorting is turned off)

Can someone help?
