Access 2007 Templates

I have recently started work on a number of databases in Access 2007. I have
downloaded a number of 2007 Templates and have found that they frequently ask
for a backup when making the smallest of change. Like add a field, modify a
form etc.

Access 2003 did not have this problem.

What does it mean to say, "frequently ask for a backup"? Are you saying that
the templates recommend you make frequent backups? If so, that's really good
advice. Always make frequent backups.

Or are you saying something else, like the database fails and you get the
message to make a backup and restart Access?

And is this just a complaint, or is there a question in here you'd like to
have addressed?
