Does any one know if Access (in the future) will take advantage of the Dual
and Quad Core CPUs????

If so, Like what OS and Office version will???

Thanks,

I'd be very surprised if they ever do. I really don't think Access would
benefit appreciably from allowing multiple threads.

yeah if you used Access Data Projects; it would help a lot... at least
on the server side.

Lose the training wheels you MDB script kids.

it's time to become a real developer.

and if it doesn't work that way; then MS should hold off on releasing
Access 2007 until it can utilize PLINQ technology.

shit; they should hold off until it supports LINQ anyways... I mean;
they're going to jam ANOTHER new version down our throats 2 years down
the road.

bunch of idiot Product Managers at Microsoft; grow some balls kids.

ACCESS DATA PROJECTS.

It will be the operating system that uses these features. Access may only
benefit in having a processor to itself whilst other processors do
operating system tasks, but as Access uses a lot of operating system tasks
there should be a considerable performance gain.
