Access 2007

When I sign in as my user on on my computer and to the access 2007, the forms
do not allow input. It works fine when I log in the network and then log in
the database as myself or the user. It seems to look at who is logging in on
the computer. This is happening when I use the 2003 database opened in 2007
and also the decoded database with the executable content enable the the
database trusted.

You didn't give us enough info, but if the db is on another computer, you
need an account on that computer. Wherever the db is located, you need
sufficient Windows permissions on the db file itself and on the folder that
contains the file. For the db file, you need Write permissions. For the
folder, you need everything except Full Control, so you can create the .ldb
file that is necessary for writing in the db.

Thank you Paul, This was very helpful. I did solve my problem. It would
seem when I sign on to the network, the num lock key comes on automatically,
and when I signed the user on it did not. It was a simple solution after
all. They were able to enter info when the num lock is on. Thank you for
all the information about permissions because it will be useful.
