One of the "buttons" on my database stopped working part of the way through
the day. I attempted to open the corresponding form with no luck. PLEASE HELP!

well....first try opening that form manually from the navigation pane by
double clicking on it....just a sanity check to see if it can open...

then; maybe just add a new button - - - and see if it works ok.....

doesn't resolve the "why?"...but sometimes making something work and just
moving on is ok too....

I cannot open the form from the navigation panel either. I have tried that
many times. I am a novice in Access, so I am not sure how to make a new
button. The only response I got from my "IT person" was "that's weird" and
nothing further, so I am out here on my own to get help.

I had the same issue.
Click on the Home Office key.
Then on bottom right of screen, choose Access Options.
Then choose on the left Trust Center.
Then choose Trust Center Settings
Then choose Trusted Locations.
Click on box at the bottom that says "Allow Trusted Locations".
This worked for me.
I hate Access 2007.
