Access 2010 licensing question

Hi:

I am considering purchase of Access 2010, and the advrt says that
permits installaton on 3 machines. One of my machines is quite old and
will eventually have to be replaced. My question is whether i can
remove Access from that machine that machine and install it on
another, or whether it really means 3 installs regardless of the
number that are active at the same time.

If no one knows the answer, does anyone know where I can find out
details like this?
