Access 2k to xp

John

Hi

I have a access 2000 app which I would like to upgrade to access xp. Is this
straightforward or are there any issues that I need to keep in mind?

Thanks

Access XP (2002) uses the Access 2000 format, by default. Unless you are
trying to do some fancy design of Data Access Pages or Pivot Tables, leave
the format alone. There should be no issues either way. Make sure all
service packs are applied.

John;

A few of my clients upgraded from Access 2K to XP.

If you don't have to worry about going back, and you don't mind correcting,
streamling some of your code, convert your files to XP. (If not open the
files in 2K format.)

XP wizards are very enlightening.

In one instance a half a page of code was refined to one paragraph.
