No real problems. Some people claim you need to install them in
chronological order, but I know people who haven't bothered with that, and
it's worked fine for them. Just make sure you install into different folders
(which shouldn't be an issue, since the defaults are different anyhow).
It's possible you might receive a "There is no license" error when you go to
use Access 97, but this is nothing to get worried about. Just check
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=141373 for the solution.
You will find that the version of Access that's associated with MDB files
will keep changing to whatever version you used last. If this becomes a
problem, you might want to look into a 3rd party product that can determine
what version of Access to use. Three that I know about are:
ACCVER
http://www.aylott.com.au/software.htm
Total Access Startup
http://www.fmsinc.com/products/startup
AccessOpener
http://www.openaccess.co.za/BlackAndWhiteInc/AccessOpener.htm
One thing you should also is look in the directory that Access 97 is
installed in for two .SRG ("SelfReg") files, msaccess.srg and wizard.srg.
Rename those files to .bak, and create empty files with those names. That
will stop Access 97 from mucking around in the registry as much each time.
