Access '97 and Windows XP

Just a quick question. I have been running Office '97 and
Office 2000 on the same PC since 2000 came out. Last night
I tried to load Access '97 onto my XP machine (my main
PC), and received the error "You do not have a license to
run this application".

So I unloaded Office XP, and '97, then tried to install
just '97 and got the same error. Is there a compatability
issue with Office '97 and XP or any other ideas of what
could cause this?
