Access 97 compatibility issues with Windows XP

I've just used Access 97 to create an application that is
going to end up being run in a Windows XP environment. I
removed Office XP Small Business from the XP system in an
attempt to avoid DLL issues, but after installing my
Access 97 application on the XP system, I get an error
message to the effect that Access cannot find MSO9.DLL
when I try to bring it up. Any ideas?
