Access 97 corruption - KB 158933

I have an Access 97 database that gives errors when
opening the tables/queries views. The errors are
respectively:

Operation invalid without a current index.

" isn't an index in this table. Look in the Indexes
collection of the TableDef object to determine the valid
index names.

I strongly suspect that KB 158933 is causing this but the
proposed solution points to a number of varying steps,
from creating a new database and importing the data from a
backup to running jetcomp.exe and additional updates to
msjt3032.dll. I would like to know if anyone has run into
these errors and what the exact steps were to solve the
problem.

in Access 97 can usually be fixed by downloading the latest version of
Jet 3.51. Jet 3.5 SP 3

problem also existed in Access 95 but hopefully no one is still using
that version of Access.

Installing Jet 3.51. Jet 3.5 SP 3 did not resolve the
problem, the same errors appear. Are there any other
suggestions on how to proceed?

Sorry, I should've added some more information.

The repair didn't work? Did you try Jetcomp? The KB article in
Krysten's posting will tell you where you can download that utility
from as well as some things to try. There are other things you can
try at the Access Corruptions FAQ at my website.
